EMAIL AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS NOTICE
Scope
This notice applies to business emails and related electronic communications sent by or on behalf of Wealth and Legacy Group (Pty) Ltd. Our separate Privacy Notice explains how personal information is processed. Client engagements and transactions remain subject to applicable mandates and contractual terms.
Confidentiality and unintended recipients
Emails and attachments may contain confidential or legally privileged information intended only for the named recipient. If you receive a message in error, please notify the sender, do not use or disclose its contents, and delete the message and attachments. Unintended delivery does not by itself waive confidentiality or privilege.
Electronic communication risks
Email may be delayed, intercepted, altered, corrupted or misdirected. Recipients should take appropriate precautions when opening links or attachments. Please verify unexpected payment instructions or changes to banking details by contacting us through independently established contact details. We cannot guarantee that electronic transmissions are entirely secure or error-free.
Authority and agreements
An email does not necessarily represent an authorised commitment by Wealth and Legacy Group (Pty) Ltd. Opinions or statements unrelated to our business and made outside an employee’s authority do not necessarily represent the company’s position. The formation of agreements and acceptance of instructions or transactions remain subject to applicable law, mandates, contractual terms and authorised procedures.
Privacy and records
Business correspondence may be retained or reviewed where lawfully permitted for administration, recordkeeping, security and compliance purposes. For details about our handling of personal information, see our Privacy Notice.
